Good stuff rich – we do a little bit of the ol' web stuff too except we do magazines mainly. I'm often to be found at Hampton at Tescos filling the (massive) boot of the Chim with the wife's pickings.

Rob, yes it's the LivingHell! Tell me more about where you work – I work in Glinton, all of two mintes away – if at anytime you want to see the Chim up close and have a chat then let me know – email in profile – same goes for you rich.

Peterborough 3 – Basingstoke A lot more than 3

We're on the map!

I know Bretton well, as used to live in the north bit opposite Molins (as was)

I'd appreciate seeing your Chim and having a chat. What are your lunch times like?

Nashy: Ricky Martin was a favourite nick name for some time with my friends, lets just say I'm glad he hasn't got anything in the charts at the moment!

Nice to see you got that little business proposition in there, I'll let you know if I need your help.

Anytime no problem, let me know a time and I'll drive down to you (before I pop home for me lunch . Thursday/Friday this week would be OK – if you want to see it before you see the one in Cambridge, unless its tipping it down.

Jeremy, it's actually Peakirk (I typed in the erroneous i because I was frothing at the mouth that there were Pistonheaders in Peterborough!)

Peakirk is quite genteel – you gotta go out further east – as Marshy says, there's dragons out there.

We can't compete with your Dorkings and Leatherheads I'm afraid but then again you're all Reginald Iolanthe Perrins the lot of ya

Rich, Rob, Mike - I normally go back up to Deeping to visit family every month, so keep an eye out for a starmist blue Chimaera with N** TVR plates on it.

They must be v thin on the ground because I've yet to see one north of Huntingdon.

It really loves the 4 lane stretch of the A1(M) from Huntingdon to P'Boro if you know what I mean........

Mike,

I'll drop you a line, wouldn't mind meeting on Friday (put a big smile on a few of the guys at work too!)

chingfordchimp? Does that mean you're from Chingford, North London? My family comes from Chingford!

Small world, but I wouldn't like to paint it.

As Mike knows, I'm not a million miles away from Peterborough myself. Actually, at the moment that's a bit of a lie as I am in South America. But when I get home, late July, you're most welcome to drop by and have a look at a really old (and slightly rough) one. Mine is a K reg.

It's currently dead though. I have been away for five weeks and have two more to go. The wife was left with specific instructions to start it every weekend and run it for at least 25-30 miles (suitable routes were suggested). I HATE leaving any car unmoved for a long period of time.

Anyway, two weekends go by and she rings to say she tried to start it and it wouldn't work and then she started to cry. Sounds as if the battery is flat again, so she obviously failed to follow the 250 point checklist she was given and left the radio/courtesy light/lights/indicator/ etc. on before she got out of it.

Something to look forward to when I get home (removing the battery AGAIN - not beating the wife....)

I wonder if its wise to post that your abandoned wife is alone and upset - there's some red blooded males here would love to console a damsel in distress.

Peterborough is in Cambridgeshire, about 60 - 70 miles up the A1 from London.

It's on the edge of the East Midlands

And only I know where he lives ...

James, are you up for coming to PH4 – early in September I think, let's give 'em a blast up to Clumber Park which is Nottingham way (ish).
