What did you do in the garage yesterday?
Discussion
I noticed my bite point a bit lower if I let the car stand awhile. A few pumps later it would work and be ok as long as I used the car regularly.
Powers did replace it in the end as part of other works and it’s been good since, and even better since Surry Hills Tvr fitted my new clutch and fork arm.
Possibly the lightest un assisted Tvr clutch in the land, magic

Peter, Is that an LED panel? Do you have a link?
A freebie from Qbee . Yes LED.
Anthony, link?A freebie from Qbee . Yes LED.
You get two for £3.58 delivered, and it would appear from my tester that they work and have reasonable length wires.
Roll cage to which to attach it - £350-500 plus fitting

Any recommendations for wheel repairs in the Surrey/South London area?
If the pothole is already on the database for repair, maybe even if it isn't, it's worth pursuing the council for the repair. It takes a bit of persistence but I've just had a refurb and tyre following damaging one of mine. Fortunately I was able to see the repair was overdue on the council website which helped my case.Went off down to Sheffield to diagnose a faulty electric handbrake on a Laguna. First time I've been in the car for quite a while and the discs were covered in surface corrosion. So time for a blast. Set off up the hill and the fuel gauge went to empty. Where it remained till I got home.
Testing at the sender and the voltage was only 4.5v. Aha, bound to be a bad connection behind the B pillar. Unfortunately it wasn't.
So off with the dash (velcro job so 3 secs max) and followed the wiring from the gauge to the large white block connector. Disconnect, reconnect and bingo, working again. Cleaned up and refitted then put her back to bed.

Got the cage already, thinking about fitting to Suni.

How old was your request Peter? I'm sure I've mentioned Premier Wheels in Redhill to you previously.
Thanks for that Stuart. I did forget.I took my wheel and tyre to Total Tyres just down the road from me. They stripped the wheel took it to the repairer who has an x-ray machine and found another crack as well. He welded up both cracks and touched up the paint work on the wheel. Total Tyres then fitted my tyre and balance the wheel. Total cost, £95 with the wheel guaranteed.

Spent a lot of yesterday cruising the small ads looking at Porsches. Mmm.
But today, cruised down to Simons, (Sardonicus) and had my exhaust rear box/ tailpipes junction reinforced as they were getting a bit wiggly, cheers Simon, a very neat job!
