That's good we've had the bad stuff go down in 6 months.

All ready for the big chop off.
I’ve been wondering something.
How do you support the car on the ramp once the riggers are detached?
You might have told me but I’m still stumped by this one. smile

And I wear glasses, I just go soft in the head when I see this car.
Thanks that explains it, right I’m ready to get a cutting disc out,, wink

I might swallow my pride and help my mate go racing again, on the proviso I can use his ramp and garage for a year while I do a proper chassis job. It's like a dream I’ve had all along really.
Or leave it with a Peter for a few months as he cracks on like few others biglaugh

My instant reaction was “wobbly?”, but Peter is no fool, so it must be stable up there.

Proper rotten those old ones.
Did they fall away from the car easy enough once bolts removed, as they have virtually dissolved I’d imagine the answer is yes.

If you can keep tabs of the overall time this all takes I’d appreciate it so I can convince my mate I’ll only use up his garage space for an afternoon hehe

You have plenty of height in your garage Richard.

How's the car going?

Next step completed.

I spent 4 hours yesterday cutting back the old welds on the chassis with an 112mm angle grinder and a die cutter, oh joy.

Outriggers now bolted in position and waiting for the welder. Welder has broken his wrist by falling off his enduro bike......help!

Just under 11 ft. So should be able to get the ramp to full height with the car on.
The cars not too bad, i believe it's getting more blow by than I'd like at 1 bar. It's chucking oils out somewhere and depositing it's self on the garage floor when parked.
When I get the ramps I will find it and sort it.
