What did you do in the garage yesterday?
Discussion
Fitted my new gearstick gaiter and the Leven surround I've had in stock for a couple of years now.
This concludes my TVR gear linkage delete using the Chevy S10 tail housing and a series of other components.

The project proved itself to be worthwhile by delivering a useful improvement in shift quality.
And now the cosmetic element is finally sorted.

Did it just fail or show intermittent firing first. Just wondering for future reference.
Mine went through a river at 50 mph, still worked which was luck I think or water itself isn’t a problem for the signal?
It didn’t even miss a beat, water and steam was being forced by pressure up through my bonnet vents, shocker of a moment, Rainsport saved the day and that’s no lie!

Plain bad luck Peter IMO bloody annoying though fella Alun those sensors can read through engine oil so a splash of water in the air gap wont matter its why the LR mud plugers often lose the clockwork dizzy in favour or wasted spark on the RV8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXQrEax9L0k
