Fitted my new gearstick gaiter and the Leven surround I've had in stock for a couple of years now.

This concludes my TVR gear linkage delete using the Chevy S10 tail housing and a series of other components.

The project proved itself to be worthwhile by delivering a useful improvement in shift quality.

And now the cosmetic element is finally sorted.

OH frown thats a different style to the common Ford unit used on common MS installs that one has an O ring recess in the body scratchchin probably a later design your one reaches through the block to read the crankshaft trigger earlier are external trigger wheel

Did it just fail or show intermittent firing first.
Just wondering for future reference.
Mine went through a river at 50 mph, still worked which was luck I think or water itself isn’t a problem for the signal?
It didn’t even miss a beat, water and steam was being forced by pressure up through my bonnet vents, shocker of a moment, Rainsport saved the day and that’s no lie!

Plain bad luck Peter IMO frown bloody annoying though fella banghead Alun those sensors can read through engine oil so a splash of water in the air gap wont matter wink its why the LR mud plugers often lose the clockwork dizzy in favour or wasted spark on the RV8 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zXQrEax9L0k
