Mostly been spending my time getting the garage ready to work on the car. Will be taking it off the road for the next year or so in order to get it the way I want.

Yesterday finished off the lighting on that side of the garage as currently gets dark at 4.30pm. New workbench and tool cart coming next week. Still undecided on a lift, will see how it goes with ramps and axle stands first.

They're relatively cheap still but just starting to rise in value.

Saloons were 3.0 straight 6s but the coupes could be had with the newfangled Rover V8 3500 iirc.

Both Saloons and Coupés were for many years produced only as straight 6 3L but from 1968 the 3.5L V8 was available in both and effectively replaced the 3 litre.

Well last nite, installed the new fuel tank into its final position fiddled with the new tube fuel sender, nor more swingy arm type and this should be more accurate.

Assembled the new rear hispec brake discs ready to go on.
