Decent exhaust manifold bolts
Discussion
Evening All
I've been reading posts on here and elsewhere about ideas to stop the exhaust manifold bolts working loose but has anyone actually used any or have a tip on what to do?
I've tried ARP bolts and nord locks but I don't think the ARP bolts are long enough really and still work loose.
Like the stage 8 - http://www.stage8.com
or http://taylorvertex.com/vibe-lock/
maybe even just some standard decent length bolts with nord lock and thread lock?
I'm just not sure what peoples experience is and what's best. I'm not sure if there is enough room to fit the above?

Hi! Brett.
Just incase
Ive just purchased the ARP bolt set and nordlocks from ACT.You dont use the washers supplied in the bolt pack, just the nordlock washers which are suplied as pairs. this allows the washers to bite into the head of the bolt and the exhaust flange face. Use copperslip on the threads to stop corrosion between s,steel and alluminium. The thread size should be 3/8 unc
trust this helps
