Garmin sat nav, wheel/tyre size would make a small difference, then again I had no proof on how accurate the rev counter was
Yes definitely a track, definitely not the A1 on that downhill section that opens up to 4 lanes
Yeah that's the bit chillis carpet get stuck under the loud pedal ..... Sorry could resistYes definitely a track, definitely not the A1 on that downhill section that opens up to 4 lanes

I simply don't exceed the national speed limit.
Very often.
Anyway, I enjoyed the sound of you blasting past me, and the maniacal grin on Alex's face which I glimpsed as you passed
Dave reckoned he fluffed 2nd to 3rd accelerating down the sliproad.... feeble excuse Dave, those boggo 500's are just slow

How much bhp is needed for 200 210 and 220 mph, not standing mile unlimited
If we assume drag at 0.35 (Griff was measured at 0.344), I worked out the Sportmotive Evo LSA Chim could hit 200mph if it makes 575bhp+700bhp and 800bhp should see 210 and 220mph !
(Obviously in all this the gearing needs to be right).

I 202mph at Bruntingthorpe, might go a bit quicker now it revs a little higher with better valve springs and higher profile tyres, but thats not a standing mile.
It did it very easily but just had no more revs to give at the time.
I reckon it would be 190+ in a mile...
Whats the theory Richard!!??

I get 188mph based on the 581bhp (DD) dyno numbers (I forget which were the latest ones!).It did it very easily but just had no more revs to give at the time.

Hey Paul come to Elvington on the 14th. If you crack 200 in the mile you get a plaque and your place in the exclusive 200 club.It did it very easily but just had no more revs to give at the time.

If you fitted a little nitrous kit.....

188 to 200mph is a massive leap, and the calcs wont be that far off, 190mph could be possible i guess, Elvington is flippin miles away!!
You midland folk have it too easy with dragstrips and circuits on your doorstep.Elvington is at least 2 hours 30 for me if the tractors and caravans arent out.
