Cracked engine mount - time required to replace?
Discussion
Hi All,
The OS engine mount rubber has split through, resulting in the manifold whacking the chassis and the gear lever moving about an inch to the right under acceleration in 1st and 2nd gear.
I see the part is only £25 but it looks like an utter b***h to get to. Can anyone give me a guesstimate of time required to change? Debating whether to spend the time doing it myself or just hand the keys over to someone to do it for me!
Thanks
Keith

Just a warning that you should watch that the serp pulley/steering pump pulley will start to "cut" the swirl pot swan neck on acceleration - lots of steam and no water will result!!
Repair depends on your self confidence, tools and a couple of jacks?? 60/90 mins and 2-coffees??
Just don't drive it too far to repair
Good luck !
