don't know if such fit, but do Chimaera have 4 stud x 108?
if so then maybe such wheels will look good too, you can get those in more colors,
they are also great to fit big calipers, because much room to the spokes.

Yes, 4 x 108 is correct. Your link is interesting because although most owners go for 17 or 18 inch wheels, you have to lower the profile significantly to get the tyres in the wheelarches. By going for 16" but 8.5 inches in width or more, you can get more rubber on the road, e.g. 275/40 x 16 on the rear??if so then maybe such wheels will look good too, you can get those in more colors,

OK, I know a man who has 265s or 275s on his Chim, but he ground out his wheel arches to do it and has adjusted his ride height too (adjustable dampers). The standard Bilsteins are not that adjustable (if at all). IMHO (and my TVR guy's too) the TVR Chimaera, at 1060 kg, can have less grip with too wide tyres, not more, especially if conditions are even slightly damp.
Mine handles brilliantly on 215s all round. If your car is not handling well, don't change to different tyres, instead go and invest £100 in having a full four wheel alignment - when you get it back you will be checking the numberplate to make sure its your car, because it will be transformed.

Don't think for a minute that the Chinese copy wheels are in the same league as oem wheels or serious aftermarket manufacturers from England, Germany and Italy. Theres a good reason why they are cheap. The alloy itself is often mixed with cheaper materials to save money, this often makes them brittle and prone to cracking. And they are almost always thinner than oem wheels, making the whole package much worse. Then there's the cheap overspray they call paint! We can feel this when straighting and welding damaged rims. The Oems are much stronger and easier to work with

Love these. So for me, SP12's, the Cerb wheels, the deep dished split rims above and the Compomotives (in black) do it for me. I have to be honest and say that some body colurs lend themselves to black rims better whan others though. Choice of wheels is a very personal thing. I think Meatball's Chim caused a bit of a stir with wheels.
Had the SP12's off today so thought I'd weigh them (and my 16" Estorils) for future reference and for anyone who might assume bigger wheels are have to be heavier
SP12's fitted with Continental Sport Contact 3's
Front: 7x17 et 25, 215/40/17 - 18.1kg
Rear: 8x18 et 35, 245/35/18 - 20.2kg
Estoril's fitted with Toyo T1R's
Front 7.5x16 et 35, 225/45/16 - 20.7kg
Rear 7.5x16, et 35, 245/45/16 - 21.7kg
All tyres have approx 7mm of tread remaining.
