Any thoughts on arches fitted to a Chimaera . I think they look brilliant and would allow wider tyres .

Hmm I quite like that, but I think the roof line and longer wheelbase on the Cerb allow it to work.... Don't think it would suit the Chimaera, would remind me of one of those ghey MX5 things or whatever they call them...

I tend to agree, even though there is a vague whiff of Audi TiTi coming from somewhere confused

Its nicely done and it looks mean, but the wheels are silly big and ruin it a bit, some deep 17" split rims would make it look purposeful!

Not a pleasant whiff.

Sorry, it's a yuck from me. Take 2 good looking cars (Cerb & TT) and create an ugly mutant from them.

If you read the responses they agree that wider arches are OK on a Cerb...............you asked about a Chim and no-one seems to agree??

But that's never stopped you before?

Go for it Daz, then you can have 20/22 inch wheels, saves lowering the rear axle ratio for your "cruising" target of 70 at 1000 rpm in 5th and 50mpg?

I like the Cerb, but agree with Chilli about the look on the Chim.

If you get those fitted, you'll need to buy one of these:

And one of these to go with it

I like those wide arches too, not so the wheels they used, but that can be changed easily.
