Now there was a post about this a week or so ago but I'm buggered if I can find it

I've just got the last of the bits back from the painters (photos should be available tomorrow) but I've connected up 'all' the relevant connectors to the mirrors and I can't get them to work at all. The N/S one wasn't removed from the car at all but the O/S door was completely rebuilt (wing mirror removed from loom)

Nothing works, where do I start ?

I'd check the fuse

Check you have a elec supply at the door elec conectors and if you havent, then work back until you find the cause.

Its more than likely a dodgy conector as the ones used are cheap & nasty and seem to loose their conection if moved.

anyway good luck

there is also a relay in o/s door that works with mirror wires. access is through speaker and down towards front of door. easily knocked out whilst fumbling in door. also check plug on back of switch? good luck.
