The reinforcement cross thing under my bonnet has fallen off on one side, what's the best way to stick it back on again? I used some no nails on a bit of the heatshield last year and it fell off within a week so I'm looking for something a bit more long term hehe

Funnily enough I've got half a tube of sikaflex left over from trying to make the thing waterproof hehe

Any ideas on what paint to use on the underside of the bonnet? Mine is half flaking off, looks like it's just been satin black rattle canned, is that standard tvr finish?

I have used Rust-oleum paint on the chassis under the exhaust manifolds. I managed to over-spray on to the exhaust below the manifold and a year later the paint is still there so it is definitely heat resistant. A Google search will find the specs - 530C I think.

Hammerite do a similar version claiming 600c protection (barbcue paint) and is available a Halfords, B&Q etc.
