NSCC Champion - Its official
Discussion
A relaxing 2 nights in sunny Blackpool and I received my Trophies for winning the National Street car challenge. The AGM went as expected. A heavily intoxicated heated debate on the way forward for 2017 and many comments were made regarding York raceways increasing prices and lack of improvement of the facilities. Lets see what is said at their own AGM next week. I might even receive another trophy

Well done sir, sterling work and well deserved. Where do you go from here? Super Street?
I will be racing at York with the NSCC again this year and also in Hot rod super cup which I also won last year.HRSC is an interesting class, its heads up but has a cut off at 10.99 so you have to be careful not to go quicker than that. I found a 70 shot of gas got me to 11.1 which was good enough last year but I expect a few more cars running close to that cut off this year.
I am also hoping that a new Rover V8 class comes about. I think this will be held at Shakey and the pod so I may be busy. This was one of the main reasons I changed my mind on going LS just yet. A twin turbo build is in the pipeline so watch this space.
I attended the York Raceway AGM on Saturday and the meeting went well with little in the way of people moaning too much about an increase in race fees. If anything the racers are as enthusiastic as ever. The usual pints were made regarding the pot holes in the entry road and the state of the facilities. Money is tight but I am pleased to announce the worst toilet block is to be replaced and work parties are being organised to address as many of the pot holes as possible.
So hopefully I will get my engine built and running by Easter and racing to defend my title.
A couple of trophies were collected at the presentation evening. So a great day.

Loving it. Trophies at the top, kids at the bottom!
A few more trophies and the kids are gone! Thanks for the comments guys. NSCC was the big one and huge effort was required to attend all the various shows and meetings as well as the racing.
Hot Rod was easier as the class had just been resurrected and we only had 11 cars sign up. Hopefully there will be many more this year and I would love a few cars to be pushing to the 10.99 cut off for some close racing and breakouts.
