Max and Steve spring to mind but that may have been Facialachage posts.

Paul did this - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... - but that requires an intact mushroom to begin with.

Reviewing the thread from page one might be worth a shout wink

Grief forum rather than the S though, memory must need a cache clean biggrin. Enter at own risk. Funny lot those grief owners.

That is a clever little mod but is an addition to the 'Toadstool mount' not a replacement for it ;(

........ and yes, there are some strange Griff owners, nearly as strange as some S owners laugh

This is all you need.

Give me a PM if you need it in another format. It was drawn in Visio.

Steve
Steve kindly supplied me me the drawing, I made up a loom on the bench tonight following the drawing connected it to a battery it worked straight away with no issues.

As steve stated. There is no need for a relay the rocker switch is used to change polarity.

It is so simple. If anyone is considering carrying out the conversion I have loads of pics and can CAD up the door with some dims on it for drilling the holes.

Thanks for your help, off to Whitstable Saturday
