Almost 3 tenths but I didn't get the best out of the Rainsports or the MT's.

But those 2 or 3 tenths are like rocket fuel off the line smile

Big rubbing so I think I'd have gone a tad faster on he Mts to be honest.
So why are you still called Classic Chim 13.111? confused

Pistonheads don't believe my time biggrin
I haven't changed it yet Anthony.

Irony is I did 109 mph Catted that year !

I totally adore Clive's Y but I'll be putting my original back in. My exhaust is loud Anthony, Peter and Daz had a Pootle around the pits feeling out the Dif, both mentioned it.
Really annoying!
It's my ear not the Y. FFS

Not bad, 10 chims out of the top 20 cars. 1st and 3rd are chims on RV8s!

Just stick an ad on FB - your arm will be removed without anaesthetic in a matter of minutes.....
Or, as promised, I will have it back off you for a full refund and sell it myself. I will be heading for Sarf Wayels on Sunday.....

Now I might regret posting this but it demos how ste I was and how so talented you guys were.
My best was 14.67 and that was with Dereks sticky micky toms.....ah well gives room to improve. I was carrying extra weight though as I found a can of pepsi in the boot when I got home. Next time I will make sure I dont do that again.

It is definitely harder than it looks. Not just dumping the clutch and planting the throttle!

If you were carrying a can of Red Bull, that could've been to your advantage ...........

Yeah, not sure if I honestly thought that was in the car.
More me and tyre's.
I'm dumbfounded I wasn't faster at the end. But then a few hp from an exhaust at speed means nothing compared to the wind resistance.

We had a really good time as you can imagine,,Mac and the boys proper blokes.

29 th fastest. That's a thing I'm deeply proud of. Mega Simon.
It won't stand for long and that's ok. If anyone goes quicker I have huge respect as it's only a laugh and I applaud success with engineering. Great fun.

Hi Frank, I started in the 14's last year and struggled to move up. It's a lot happening, now we know what it's like to take off in a rocket. Still such good fun, your son shows the times in the car, like it lots. thumbup

That works with drag radios but not with road tires in my opinion.

I tend to let the clutch up fairly quickly, get wheelspin then dip it a tad and pile on the throttle while releasing it fully within about one second or so it seems .

I'm just practicing that with my foot, I get it. Your Torque Peter possibly requires a slightly different a approach.

Last year I did one start where I dumped the clutch and a combination of luck and throttle position resulted in bolting off the line and just marginal slip until second gear which seems to be within seconds, best one I've done. Yesterday on Derek's tyre's I got wheel spin but not in the same way, car lifts up and you stand still, it's a skill and a half, very interesting comment by the Tuscan driver who enters this stuff all the time yesterday, he mentioned how hard it is to be consistent with a Tvr which is what draws him to it. Top geezer
