It would be great to see a few TVRs come along to York this weekend.
I am there from Friday till Monday. The VW club host this meeting and bring a large marquee with live music, decent beer and food stalls etc. This is my personal favourite weekend at York and its like a mini festival.
Barrie is trailering his turbo monster all the way up from the South coast so there are no excuses that its too far.
We even have excellent weather promised.
RWYB is only on Sunday and Monday as the VW/Audi have the track to themselves on Saturday.

Times are changing for drag racing in this country.
We know that this is the last year for Shakey that will be overtaken for a housing development.
York is in danger of being lost to Mintex for the development of a new testing facility.

Soon we may only have Santa Pod and as fantastic a track it is it will be very busy at every meeting with massive queues and limited track time per day.

I could not believe how quiet it was at Shakey last week. Cars were lapping and getting over 20 runs in with ease.
Make the most of it while we can this year. I will put the word out for another RWYB meet up at Shakey soon. We had a good turn out last week but we could have had a lot more with ease.
