My times are shocking due to being ste
First run I stalled it and missed third
Second run I wheel span in the first three gears fish tailing up the track
Third run I'm not sure what I did wrong but it wasn't very good
Not sure it's worth analysing these but I know one thing I need to practice a lot.
60 ft times Richard. All Derek's teaching as I'm sure you know but it's all in those first 60 ft First run I stalled it and missed third

2.1. 2.2 ... I'd have beat you : hehe:
You big power boys have a rather different animal to tame and I think requires great technique. I think you'd have enjoyed watching Barry and taken a lot from it. Don't let him fool you, he's a born racer that lad smooth ain't the word is Barry, still pulls wheelies though so I really don't know how he does it.
Good laugh and when you do hook it up you'll be stoked and post something faster for sure.
When I was doing 2.1 I was lucky to stay in the high 13's
Derek's lend of his tyre's allowed a 1.7 to 60 and a 12.6 although I did do one run on Rainsports and got a 12.7 12.8 again with sub 2 sec 60 ft times. Makes a massive difference and the less wheel spin the better I found. Saying that I messed up the start so many times, so hard to control the power. I assumed the drag strip would be really grippy, nah!
It's a whole new step into the unknown and is a test of both you and the car. Challenging I know that.
It has to be booked in advance.
50 quid for the day, as many laps as you can squeeze in.
My son and I shared my car last month and we had about a dozen rounds each in a day, more than enough.
Loads of second and third gear work, hanging the rear out on the bends and smoking the tyres up the straights.
Give me a ring tomorrow and we can have a chat .
