spark plug options

hi
anyone using iridium plugs in there speed six ? the net says should be used with a wasted spark system and as am getting the car mapped thought i would get some feedback before spending another £50 !!

My view is that spark plugs should be seen as sacrificial.

You do not want to fit plugs that are so robust they mask issues such as pinking, you want them to fail!

That's a good point i have never thought of [pinking being one of the problems of performance engines ] i just wanted to put the best in the engine as its going to Jools for mapping next week,
This could be a reason iridium plugs do not pop up as a recommendation with owners
I think i will get a new set of standard [even though the ones in are only 3000mls old] if good enough for you and the TVR fraternity then good enough for me
