Yes, I was a but miffed when incorrigible posted his first! I was convinced mine was going to be the first, it had been booked in since the beginning of the year, so its taken a long time to get to this stage! He cheated by doing the work himself! The colour looks a bit dark actually, its BMW Montreal Blue in fact.

Brakes have been upped to 285mm, 4 pot calipers fitted, and braided hoses.

It will be coming back on a flatbed (long trip for someone - the truck broke down when they came to collect!). Has to, its been on SORN for two years now, and won't be getting taxed until I get the MoT in my mitts!

It looks the dogs doodahs, and I love the way it makes the Chim look.

Two years without the car, my god.

It is a Zertec S12 conversion carried out by Peninsula. This conversion can be done at various Zertec approved bodyshops across the UK. There is also a new version that has flush fitting Perspex covers.

Clive... What about those clear Griffith indicators with perspex fairings? Rich...

Its very good. I love my Griff, but I love the other cars as well.

and to be honest that style of light suits yiur car, but I am not sure of it on the Griff, looked a bit odd for my taste.

I may have just beaten you to "first post" but yours will almost certainly be finished before mine !! I'm still waiting for bits from Clive and the bloody paintshop to tidy up all the re-spray lash ups.
Are you going to black tie and pie ? we'll have to park at opposite ends of the car park !!

Great looking motor (but I would say that )

Excellent! As said earlier in the thread that car looks the mut's nuts.

I'm seriously considering this mod for mine, but I'm not sure if it will work as well with such a light coloured car (Silver Starmist).

So the conversion does work very well on a light coloured car

Time to spend some cash me thinks.

FunkyGibbon. I've had mine converted (albeit retaining the original indicator location) as incorrigible points out (thanks, Incorrigible!) and mine is Starmist Silver. I was a little hesitant when I took it to the bodyshop, but the results are (I think) stunning. Judge for your self...
