There was another Chim on the TVR stand at the NEC last year in the same colour. Don't remember his name but he was the sprint champion/organiser for the TVRCC and another Chim at one of the car shows. I have also seen a Cerb in the same colour.
Interesting you say it is Porsche Masalla Pink as 2 years ago at Newby Hall I found a 911 in that colour so we compared cars and found the Porsche was much, much lighter. It is called Masalla red by the paint people. Its a marmite colour smile
I suppose then that it's going to be even more difficult to obtain some paint for those little incidents...And for those wondering why there is an S3 on the Chim picture forum its just to compare colours ,

The paint code P179 is even recognised by Halfords who now get their paint to order via Eurocarparts. Only trouble is it is much darker as no doubt mine has faded. I also got some from Brighton paints and it was very similar - just too dark. Touch up is a problem on this colour.

Went out with wifey yesterday, beautiful drive around our fantastic Surrey lanes, marred only by about a million cyclists! I bloody hate cyclists...........

Oh, and did I mention the wimpy car drivers that won't pass them unless they have 20ft clearance and half a mile vision in front! I bloody hate them too..........

Not a proper cyclist though. In fact you're probably as much of a cyclist as I am. It takes me to the village club to save walking...........

I'll have you know Mr High, I regularly cycle from my little cottage to the village via the country lanes, and put the bike into the back of the Golf and go single tracking in Thetford Forest... no really... I also stopped alcohol consumption in September and signed up to Stoptober Macmillan cancer support smile raised over £200 so far... actually life is a bit naff at the moment, quit smoking two and half years ago, don't drink, haven't had a shag for 6 months (bad back), and beasties in the garage in bits... frown

A big, "seriously well done" Richard.

I can't really do anything to help you, especially the shag bit but I will be thinking of you when I open a can of beer in a minute.

Now, what we need to know is, why is beastie in bits?

I have a list of things to do to mine over the winter and it will be coming off the road soon.

Peter, rfl ran out end of September so rather than put another 6 months on it it gave me the excuse I needed to start the chassis refurb strip down... I'm selling the Golf so that's been sorned too... also seriously considering selling the B roadster, be sad to see her go, but time and space at a premium these days... I've tried altering the time space continuum twice now but on both occasions I disappeared up my own exhaust pipe biggrin

Aston Martin owners living the dream....

Does raised mean saved on the booze front? Ie you have raised what you would normally have spent?
