quick question about David Batty and Rob Ingley(sp?)

I've heard very good reports about both these gentlemen, just wanted to know exactly what the difference is service would be between finding a car youself and getting David to check it over before purchase, and getting Rob to source the car etc( appart from the obvious sourcing part of the service), I know how much Rob charges but how much does D batty charge for a full pre purchase checking service?? which of the two would you recommend??

Thanks

S

David B won't help with sourcing (I don't think) but is top guy to check the car out and do the servicing. It could be too late then - and problem is that he's always very busy.

Rob Ingleby was VERY helpful and ran all over the country looking at cars for me. Ended up getting one 5 miles up the road from where he lives! If you use him make sure he gives you a WRITTEN account of the cars condition and HPI result. He definately knows TVR's and is a really nice bloke.

And I'm not on commission!

Roar on.

Remember, if you smoke, go for one with an ash tray.

I've got 2 unused Chim ash-trays in case any smokers need an after-market add-on
