That’s about the only car you will blast past.......but I will lend you some track tyres if you are feeling the need for grip

Just caught up with this, would really have liked to join in, catch up etc. but flying back from a holiday on the 26th. Sprinting at Goodwood on the 28th though, so I will have my fun there. Hope you all have a good day, be interesting to see the results of the comparisons.

Sounds like a fun day out of the office might be in order. Track day silencer already fitted and as John fitted my S/C might be a good time to test it out bit.

Yer Yer.

What do you need for a trackday these days? The last one I did was about 20 years ago at Snetterton in a 1975 Alfasud with a few mods, great car.

Presume: Crash helmet, petrol? Thats it?

Next time Daz thumbup

Beer and wine not a problem either, have dedicated beer fridge in the kitchen, and another in the garage biggrin
Arrangement will however require that you service my outside combi boiler and install new power shower whilst enjoying the delights of my modest but charming country pile wink

It's a "drive each other's cars" day, Nick........

.........sooooo, which of your fleet will you be bringing?

Or do we get to vote on it?idea
so this is what I am bringing -

420R Donington Edition - has sequential box, LSD and lots of bits from the 620R (but with slightly less crazy power)

Happy to give lots of rides - it's quite an experience.

I was over taken astonishingly quickly by one of these today and the gear change sounded funny - guessing that was a sequential box! Nice looking car. Should be good around Snetterton

That's a nice machine ,I thought you had some type of track race car you were using in a series .

Been hanging my nose over a Caterham but its driving it on the road what puts me off .

Caterham just a track toy - this is the race car

The less extreme Caterhams (with a windscreen + roof covers) are pretty usable, my car is road legal, but you wouldn't want to go far!
