I want to be sure what I'm ordering.......
Discussion
Hi Guys, I don't have my newly acquired 280i in front of me yet(still 1100 miles away, but it's mine). I'm going to have a local mechanic replace a few things before it come to it's new home (to save myself some crawling under time). I was going to order a few different parts and have them shipped directly to him for replacement but want to make sure (or at least limit my mistakes) by asking for some part number/type guidance.
I may order:
1. Rear brake pads------(I think they are Jag. XJS)
2. Rear axle half shaft u joints/spiders ---- I'm "ASSUMING" they are Jag as well
3. Fuel lines -------if someone knew 3' of 5/8" and 4' or 1/2" or............
4. Rear brake lines
5. Fuel filter - if someone had a part number I could cross reference (not many Granadas over here)
6. Clutch master cylinder - I'm pretty sure is from a TR7/8 but not 100% sure
Thank you for any guidance/info you can supply,
Bruce

Definitely worth getting grease nipple UJ's. Whether it's worth preordering is debateable in case you have upgraded driveshafts with the bigger ones in.
On the fuel line front I have fitted cunifer instead of rubber for the long lines front-back, which avoids the worry of splitting or being eaten by ethanol. Use at lease a 7mm inner diameter pipe, available as lorry brake lines.
It's worth noting that later cars have a copper fuel line that runs along the sill, so it seems TVR recognised this as a worthwhile improvement too.
