This is the one I've got.

Side straps can't be used obviously since there are no door handles. I put the wipers over the front, and trap the rear straps under the forward edge of the boot lid. As the side fixings can't be used it will flap about a little in the wind which may have some impact where it touches the paint.

Keep watching out for a good second hand Leven one. They are streets ahead of anything else, and we’re designed for the car. Heavy material so they don’t flap, big extension flaps tuck into boot and bonnet, and ties that click on around the mirrors.

Hi
I use one of these:-

Works well and material is kind to paint work

Not wishing to be a kill joy but the Leven one is about the only one that protects paintwork and fits properly.
It’s expensive but then so is paint correction.

As above.

It’s a good case of, pay too much, (or the right amount) and you have bought the right item for the job.
Pay too little and you haven’t achieved what you set out to do in the first place.

I’ve just looked at the price, £150! Surely it’s not worth buying a cheap inferior alternative?

It’s only the price of a decent tyre. Or 300 miles worth of motoring in my case! A bargain.

Here is mine, fitted to the car.

Big flap which goes into the boot neatly holds the rear in place (which is hard to see, but trust me, it's there)

Straps around the mirrors neatly hold the sides in place.

And finally a flap tucks under the bonnet (which you cannot see, but trust me, it's there.

My car lives out 24/7. with the cover on, it stays dry inside. Without it, the first rain storm and my carpets are wet and my shins get a lovely cold bath each of the first six corners i turn.

Oh, and the interior has a nice fleece lining to avoid any damage to your hood material.

I have tried other covers, but this one is streets ahead in terms of fit and finish and ease of fitting to the car, especially when you arrive home in the dark and a 40mph wind, with rain forecast.

This is a light weight top cover I have from Cover Systems. I think it's a generic "fits all two seater sports car size" but is a reasonable fit on my S or the Griffith.
Small and light (fits in a carrier bag easily) with elastic round the door mirrors, the downside is the straps that goes under the car is a fiddle to throw under and retreive the other side. You don't want to be kneeling down on the drive in your Armani suit to do that!

In this picture it is thrown over without the roof panels in place, quick 'n easy if a rain shower interupts tinkering with the car smile

I’d be worried about the straps marking the doors!

Adjusted correctly they don't flap around unless a hurricane hits, guess some kind off soft sleeves could be threaded over them?

That is the downside of light weight covers they all use some system of straps. Handy for occaisional use but may be not if you've just had a five grand respray!

Also handy if your car is not de-catted irked
