Fixed!

Finally got out this evening, started her up and by the time I got the laptop running and plugged in, the error code had self cleared. Gave her a good drive and all was good, lambda’s were adjusting on the move.

Seems I sealed the Plenum properly as well.

Car drove well and reminded me why I love these things!

Tyres and brake reservoir next.

No, thank you (and everyone else) for having the patience to help me!

Not eager to mess with electrics any time soon though. wink

I thought I would update this thread on a bit of progress, some issues/questions and plans.

First, progress -

Fuel hoses replaced
PAS hoses replaced
Park switch replaced
Plenum breather hose replaced for a silicon version (because I fancied it)

Issues -

Radiator needs replacing, I have a replacement but have yet to fit it. It isn't leaking, but when looking from the front, I could see right through the fairly large holes. So that will be coming out. I am going to replace all of the coolant hoses with silicon ones while doing this, since it seems like the perfect time.

Wiper motor to replace. I have the uprated TVR Parts motor and will be fitting that soonish to helpfully resolve all of my wiper fun.

Brake Reservoir. This is annoying. I was told by a relatively well known TVR parts supplier that the below would fit. However, the reservoir currently in the car does not have the 2 side feeds. They are blanked off on this one, but does anyone know if it will physically fit in the wing etc?

I have managed to get a garage to "fix" the existing one, using superglue and some powder they claim sets solid and will not break. We shall see.

Wet carpet. My drivers side carpet is wet and while I have resealed the inspection hatch and reservoir, it still seems to be getting wet under the clutch pedal. It is definitely water though. I have noticed some of the other grommets ahead of the reservoir need doing as well, so that is next on my list. Someone on Facebook did indicate it could be the drivers door, but it is definitely coming from the top of the clutch pedal so I am focusing there currently.

Rear light covers. Both covers have condensation in them and I can see the sealant in some places has gone. I have the sealant I have seen recommended on here, and am using it for the above carpet issue. When I get a chance, I will get the covers off and reseal them.

When I had the garage look at the brake reservoir, they gave the car a once over and said other than the above, it was pretty good, chassis looked good etc but did mention (and I haven't been under to look properly) that it seems to have an oil cooler. When I did the oil change last year, I was focused on getting the filter on/off etc and didn't really look around but it does explain why the larger filter I thought should fit, didn't. I am wondering why someone would fit a oil cooler down there without the car having a turbo etc?

Plans -

I have the Central TVR mk2 rear light cluster upgrade for the mk1 cars, and will fit them when I have a chance.
Big brakes. I am currently gathering the bits to do the E38 Brembo brake conversion for the front.
I am looking to get the bonnet resprayed later this year and may invest in the Panoramic hard top conversion at the same time.

With @Belle427's help, I got the wiper motor replaced. I made it more complicated than it needed to be, but got there in the end.

Intermittent wipe still doesn't work though (1st and 2nd speeds work fine, better than before with the new motor). I have checked the relay in the fuse box and had the steering column cowl off and the wiring there from the pentiometer is fine.

Which wires from the wires from the stalk to the park switch control the intermittent wipe?
