Does anyone know what size the seat belt bolts are at all?

Also, I have just got new securon seat belts- gone to check them and them have reeled in and I can’t seem to retract them - am I missing something?

Would appreciate any thoughts.

I think you have to hold them at the right ‘angle’ in order to be able to extend them.

There must be a list somewhere.
I’ve changed the ones going through riggers but can’t be sure what size now! I think mine were metric fine thread 10 mm but someone with half a brain will confirm wink

My drivers seat belt is looking a bit tatty with age and needs to be replaced.

Can you let me know which is the most suitable and matching belt?

Hi Phazed

I got the 3 point Securon 500/30. impressed with the look and quality of the belt - and really well priced. If im being honest I think the stalk on the buckle clip looks a little long - im not particulary small so it doesnt effect its safety - just doesnt look as pleasing. I will see how I get on and maybe source smaller if needed.

But on the face of it - im pleased for £35 ea

Thanks for that.

If it is a tad long, will the new belt fit the old retainer?

Depending on seat style that longer catch cable may be desirable scratchchin or not getmecoat dont bank on the catch being the same Peter they can change specs even on the same brand Securon Britax etc

My new belt didnt fit the old retainer as the buckle is quite a bit wider than the original.

Im looking to go with T350 seats in my chim, but until they are in i dont know what they will look like.

I got them from these guys - https://www.jgs4x4.co.uk/

As I have Lotus Elise seats fitted which are lower they probably require a shorter stock so I will do some investigating.

I got mine from ebay last year for £38 for two. Good quality, they had all the correct markings and were the only ones I could find that didn't have the not so nice looking buckle and triangle shapped thing.

They are still on ebay if you search for Universal 3 point inertia seat belt E4 rated and they do different sized wire buckles, supplied by Universal parts group
