They have safety locks on them already, but yes i think you could also use axle stands of you wanted to.
Yes I place a pair of stands inside the frame when lowered onto the locks, just for peace of mine, but its highly unlikely they will be needed.

My Wheel change procedure from the Owners manual merely states.....

"Place the jack beneath one of the chassis tubes"

I goes on to warn about not placing it under any part of the floor pan.

At the extreme ends of the outriggers near the wheels is where I lift from.

I found these online whilst looking for low height 2 post lifts.

They even have a tvr on the ramp in the pics.

I bought this model during the first lockdown https://twinbusch.co.uk/product_info.php?products_...
My garage is low so I cannot use a twin posts lift, and I even cannot fully go up but this is enough to have more room below the car to do some work.

Appreciated thanks.

Been nosing around at the various options and the QJ is still pretty high on the list, although I have looked at the Busch offering.

Hi Podie,
Long time no speak. smile Hope all is well.
I have always seen garages use their two post lifts on the outrigger corners, and that is where I always jack mine up, just below where the triangular section goes back to the main chassis.

Not bought the quick jacks yet, but I think that would be the plan as they are also easily moveable for if I want to work on one of my other cars outside.

Always jacked my Griff up on the outrigger corner plates, and use the same points to place the rubber blocks for the quickjack.

Just check that the QJs go high enough for what you want, you will get about 500mm, that’s just enough to get under while laying on a trolley
