Given that LED bulb technology moved on quickly, what is the consensus of the most reliable plug and play into the existing H4 terminals LED bulbs at the minute?

Cheers

......and is the beam pattern the same as standard halogens ? The led h4 bulbs I have fitted are impressively bright however when installed with the standard reflector they scatter light everywhere. I have a very forgiving MOT tester that gets me through the test however I’d prefer to have this issue solved.
The link supplied above looks like a reseller. Who is the manufacturer?

I've been running LED H4s for over 5 years now.

They're not perfect in every single respect, but they are a massive improvement so I'll never go back to incandescent bulbs.

They are a bit of con I'm afraid- the definition of plus 150 % is based on your standard minimum legal allowable headlight brightness at 100% (probably even pre dating halogens) plus 50 %. If you have new-ish halogens that will already be a lot brighter than the minimum in there already you really wont see the difference. I've tried both these and the Night breakers in various cars, and in the case of my partners Polo they where worse than OEM, but the Polo wiring is the absolute minimum you need and it drops a whole volts to the lamp from the battery. The only way to get these to really shine is to run them directly off the back of the alternator where you can be sure to get peak voltage with as short as possible decent wiring and relay and fuses near the back of the bulb.

I've put Nighteye H4 LEDs (can't remember if eBay or Amazon) into my MINI reflector headlights, these were . The beam pattern is very good but brings up CANBUS fault - I now have received the fault cancelling kit but not fitted yet.

LED and other modern light techologies are factory fitted into modern cars with modern lenses. the LENS & Bulb are type approved as complete unit!!

plus the fact that modern lights are related and approved to self-levelling & headlight cleaning system.

now ask yourselves:

is your H4 Lens type approved for LED or HID bulbs?
does your TVR has a self leveling light adjustment?
does your TVR has a headlight cleaning system?
