Hi All. I am in the process of replacing my dash panel and radio panel. Both damaged when broken into before I bought it.(1997 with older style radio panel).
Main dash in and all working! Even fixed dashboard lites that wern't working, and oil pressure lite.(bottom of speedo on mine, only bulbs needed.
Radio panel almost finished but not quite fitted yet(original fixing bits all broken when radio stolen).
Have wired it all up and everything works EXCEPT the hazard lites.
I labelled all the wires very carefully. The old hazard switch had 4 terminals but only 3 were used. I have got a new one as old one cracked.(3 terminals).
When I activate (with old and new hazard switch), the right hand indicators come on steady with right hand indicator lite on radio panel only, no lh.
With ignition on, the indicators and lites on lh of radio panel indicate and flash correctly.
The 3 wires to the hazard sw are red, double brown/black(which I take to be earth), and double green/white(which are the right hand indicator wires. The hazard red lite comes on steady. There is no green/red wire for lh indicators.
It all worked before I started!! Any suggestions welcome.
I did take some pics but havn't managed the upload.

My Griff hazard switch is wired like this (on the left). Note the raised divider on the back of the switch for reference, two connections on one side and one on the other).

Hope it helps.

My '94 Chimaera is wired as shown below. Hope that helps. There's some black overspray on the wires which might cause confusion so the sketch shows the colours when viewed from the back of the switch.

Many thanks to you both for taking the trouble to show me your wiring.
So, I didn't lose a g/r wire!
I should have tried harder, 3 terminals only gives 6 permutations. Got fooled by looking for other wire and assuming b/br wires were earth.
Got it going after first try.
Got a couple of guys who can now do an MOT for me, so back on the road for June hopefully.(last mot ran out last year).

Pleased to have helped. I’ve had my dash off twice because of the wiring on that switch!
