Ok have for a while read up on the front splitter and it’s purpose etc and although there are bespoke applications ACT etc and others using drain guttering etc , the common theme being

“it just gets damaged or ripped off”

So was thinking as it’s just to disturb the air to aid stability and cooling why could you use rubber ? You can now buy self adhesive front splitter rubber rolls and I’m not thinking of using it as per photo and in the edge but cutting an 800-900mm length and placing as per the original TVR one it would be the same sort of size and angle but of course can Bend if hits anything using self sticky strip but also add couple of self tappers the ensure it stays in place

Wouldn’t this be the solution to the issue ? It’s about 8 quid for 2.5 metres

I used exactly that material, slightly different profile, on my pre-cat Griffith and it appeared to make a difference in running temp by a couple of degrees to the good.

Great thanks , the nite I think about it the more I’m convinced that’s it’s better than

A) nothing there at all !
B) it’s the right angle and could handle the knocks and bumps they all seem to get being rubber but strong enough to do the job !
