I'm a northerner, and with family roots in Lancashire, but that Paddy is just FAR TOO northern! I just cannot bear to listen to him at all. He's the verbal equivalent of those Scottish fans who turn up at sports matches wearing enormous joke tartan bonnets and fake red beards. And Flintoff's almost as bad, egging him on and agreeing to do all the unfunny fake set-ups, like when they "accidentally" rolled a car over. They should bring back Vicky and poach Tiff from wherever those two ended up, somewhere out in the wastelands of the minority Freeview channels ...

Absolutely agree, I hear that TG only took Flintoff and Paddy on because Alan Titchmarsh and Angela Rippon we’re busy

Don't worry I've not let them have the Monaro I bought of you mate, although I do know a bit about the one on top gear.
It was originally blue and is an 04 cv8, I nearly bought it before I heard about the one you had for sale.
Either they painted or wrapped it red as they apparently wanted a red one but couldn't find one below the set £7k budget or they've used the reg number on a different car, which I hope they didn't as that'd be quite illegal........
And sadly it's not been MOT'd since as I've checked reg, so no doubt the talentless a-holes have wrecked quite a rare car ( or cars)

Chris is such a bright bloke but has to dumb down to the others level 'cause that's what we want apparently........

My son has very little interest in cars yet loves Topgear. .
It’s an entertainment show that happens to involve cars.
What a tired old format that lost its appeal about 10 years ago if you asked me.

My son is not a car type or so I thought?
He loves watching TopGear with his son though and sort of connects with these modern ( non car presenters)
Gave me a huge hug yesterday when my Tvr arrived home which was odd as he never liked the danger it presents to me lol.

Well if Freddy likes it I’m now the coolest dad in town
Typical but if youngsters are reminded these cars still exist then it can’t be a bad thing.
I just hope the Chim copes!

My worry is that they will play to the trope... abuse the poor thing until it collapses in a pile of steam and bent wishbones, turn to camera and say, "Told you they were unreliable".
