The top gear track is only a few miles from me. We have visited there often as there was always a wings and wheels show in the summer. There is an area near the entrance where a lot of the old cars used in their specials are stored out in he open exposed to all weathers.

I wonder if they bent anything bouncing through mud holes!

You would think in this day and age the BBC would be recycling or selling on as was the case with the S TopGear car but then they didn’t attempt to break that.
I enjoyed the kudos effect for awhile last night but really it’s all so off reality. Did Paddy really buy that car by choice and would Chris have the Holden as his crisis car.
Both seemed miffed Freddie had the Chim, jealous even thumbup

Where’s that road he was driving it along?
The roads in the first few minutes are from Acton Turville up to Tormarton, and back from the Cross Hands on the A46 to Acton Turville.
Thanks

I quite enjoyed the episode, although I would have liked to see Harris driving the Chimeara on the track and wish they hadn't bothered with the weight suits.
Added bonus showing the GR Yarris, as I have an order in for early 2022.

Haven't watched TG for years but checked in because of TVR link. fk me what a pile of st, McGuiness/Flintoff are appalling. Really disappointing that they try to use Chris Harris as fall guy of some sort. I like Harris' other stuff on you tube etc as he can drive and has no apparent leanings to any manufacturer and knows his stuff, but this show should now be scrapped.

It may not be for you, but I think the new format is great. I kinda wish they'd swap McGuinness for someone else that knows something about cars, but I don't dislike him.

Earlier episodes were worse in reference to harris, they were told to reign in the bullying and episodes were edited.

I think the last series was pretty good but this latest one is a bit try hard, its what happened to the stooges over a long time but its happening faster with this crew.

McGuiness is awful he knows little about cars and he shouts like a bingo caller, It's not a car show and as a comedy it falls on its a***. I guess some folks like it but I can't watch it anymore.

The biggest issue with the newer shows is that the three of them try to behave like Clarkson, May and Hammond. They will never and could never compare. Whether the BBC insist on this behaviour or whether the presenters just feel that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I’m not sure.

It’s only a telly show chaps and really not worth boiling your blood over. Exercise the option of a different channel - high blood pressure solved.

Still, at least "Joe Public" now know that they can buy a TVR Chimaera for £8k - now that's backing Britain.

Quite enjoyed it as an entertainment programme. One of the better ones.

It was great seeing the chim on the road, they really have a presence and made me feel a bit nostalgic thinking of my old one.

Just goes to show that the old RV8 can take a bit of a hammering which I’m sure it did in the hands of Flintoff.

This. People seem to get far too emotional about Top Gear...! It's just an entertainment show.
The 3rd episode had over 6million viewers, making it the 5th most watched programme of the week.

If you didn't like Countryfile, I don't think you'd shout from the rooftops about how rubbish it was and how it should be scrapped.

Calm down people hehe
