Chim on New Top Gear
Discussion
I was expecting to see them check outriggers on a ramp.
Now that’s entertainment.
The old girl looked and went well, the presenter seemed charmed by the car and considering the extreme nature of that presenter and the level of sporting/hunting prowess the man had under extreme pressure, he might not be a racing driver but if he was,,,,,,,,,,,
That alone was worth watching, to see a man who has reached such heights to enjoy an old Chim in such a way. Priceless to any self respecting TVR owner. A national hero enjoying another
Who gives a crap about the show.

The biggest issue with the newer shows is that the three of them try to behave like Clarkson, May and Hammond. They will never and could never compare. Whether the BBC insist on this behaviour or whether the presenters just feel that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, I’m not sure.
I think the old TG with Clarkson & co was good to start with but got stale in the end.Clarkson was worth the watch for me but I was never keen on Hammond & May.
TG is just an entertainment show at the end of the day - if you want proper car stuff you're much better off with YouTube.

Why did it brake down.did I miss that bit
I saw one of three possibilities:1. He flooded it - literally
2. He flooded it with fuel trying to restart it - mine never likes being restarted when I have stalled it hot
3. He activated the roll over cut off, by hitting that huge puddle sideways. I managed to do that once with my car, hitting a gravel trap sideways on at speed on a track day at Mallory Park. Engine turns over fine, but won't start because the roll over cut off cuts power to the fuel pump.
