It’s the otherside we need to see but yeah.
It’s interesting to note that on some cars with a noisy rattly top end could it just be noisy / worn pads?
You can just see the holes for the pads retaining peg to fit into, holding pad in place on the rockers.
These pads are often loose enough to fall out. I suppose a tell tale sign would be wear marks on top of your pushrods and pads if they indeed can rattle. They are not fixed hard. Do these pads ever have the pressure released off them as cam turns enough to promote them vibrating?
What might be constituted as a little end bearing rattle might actually be this or am I grasping at straws for the 500 boys here
Get my drift anyone?

The pads are all good and a lot less play between the shaft and the rockers

Good job Pete.
Just had an entertaining read over breakfast. Keep up the good work.
It’s good to see someone hands-on with these cars.
As Alun said, just like a giant Airfix and Meccano kit.
That is one aspect of a TVR but I do miss, the constant fiddling in the garage. There always seems to be something to be done, adjusted, improved et cetera.
Keep up the good work.
