Leaking Manifold Gasket ?

ahaa, fooled you all. It turns out that it's a tappet and have been reliably informed hat it is so minor that it will inevitably disappear when the oil is changed in the next service.

I had the same ticking noises. Had both replaced by main dealer and 6 months later had to replace them again. Main dealer price £300 + VAT etc!!!!! FCUK THAT !!!!!

Bought gaskets myself from Land Rover dealer for about £30 I think it was.
2 days later and no skin on fingers, and after buying a Doglegg 9/16th spanner, and much help off girlfreind with smaller hands got it sorted. Tranquilisers to the ready if I have to do it again. No probs up to now and a lot more for my pennance.
