This is where I fitted the cooling rad for the supercharger, basically a bracket running along the front of the intercooler that offsets the supercharger rad to give an uninterrupted airflow through the intercooler

Probably not completely necessary, but to make sure engine temps remain under control, I fitted a thermostatically controlled oil cooler at the side of the rad

great thanks for the pictures!

my rad is tilted 45 degrees at the front. so space may be abit limited, will probably need a custom intercooler to fit

I fitted the sc kit to my car 4 years ago, easy enough to do yourself, mine is a V8D short stroke 5.0, running on an emerald ECU installed and mapped by Joolz.
The charger I use is a C38-91

There is plenty of room upfront for the intercooler in a Chimaera, so if you have a similar space, you will have no problems.
crikey 472 HP. joolz would be doing mine. would be hoping for 380 from the 3.9
do you have different maps on the emerald?

You can have up to 3 different maps, I chose to have a single full fat map with my right foot deciding how much fun I’m going to have lol

I brought my car with the kit fitted.

I just had a full rebuild and rebored to 4.8 running just a C38-64 Rotrex charger and it made 420bhp with 410lbs of torque. There's scope to increase power with minor things like intercooler size/placement, replace to a bigger rotor in charger etc.

Do not run the charger kit with the stock ECU though, you really need an aftermarket ECU otherwise your engine goes pop, I am told.

If it helps anyone, I mounted two oil coolers vertically either side out of flow path to rad and intercooler with extra vents cut in bodywork. Oil thermostat with accompanying oil temp gauge and a remote oil filter of full size so as not to compromise sited inbetween front n/s wishbones which made for easy change too. (was a turbo build, but cooling oil info')
st, shoulda kept that car weeping
