Hi I’m having trouble with my new brake master cylinder it leaks from the seals that the reservoir fits into when fitted back in car has anyone else had this trouble was wondering whether there’s a slight difference in seals or dimensions of the the master causing it to be under uneven pressure when fitted thanks

Dunno about on a Cerb', but the reservoir needs a good firm push to get it into the seals.

Hi MJ,

As far as I am aware, the GIRLING Master Cylinder bores vary by ½" sizes, so I think you would spot a LARGE difference, if sizing was your probem. scratchchin

I believe that the OP is referring to the 'grommets' in the input ports on the top face of the master cylinder, Paul, the ones that the reservoir spigots push into, not the actual piston seals.
