Anyone changed their expansion tank?

Wasting some time on ebay the other night, i came across this...

Now, there's nothing wrong with my expansion tank, but who doesn't like a bit of bling every now and again?

I bought something like this for my S off eBay, very disappointing.
Lets say that it certainly didn't look as nice as that when it arrived and the blanking plug that you can see for the redundant take off was nowhere to be seen.
Fortunately they took it back and refunded me fairly quickly.

Perhaps, but not cheap!

I was just idly wondering if anyone had made a change. I don't think I'll do mine, there's nothing wrong with the original.

For £40 that's not the thing that would turn up, I don't think that I could get anything better made than what we've got for double that. Half hour of polishing will make any original overflow tank immaculate and you could spend the £40 on a shiny cap
