I know that quite a lot of Tiv owers are lucky enough to keep them in a garage, but I think there's a lot of pepole who don't. I keep the car (black 99 Griff 500) in Brighton and London and am getting mightly p***ed off with people reversing into the nose and then driving off, leaving scratches and chips in the paint.
Is this annoying anyone else? Any solutions short of a pre emptive note under the windscreen of the car in front?
Also, whos the best for repairing chips and scratches in metallic paint. Is it possible or am I looking at a respray every couple of years? Anyone tried that Armourguard thing? if so what's it like? is it worth the dosh?
Thanks for any responses

Yes Robert, I am as ed off as you. My Chim was hit last week taking a small but 'nasty' gouge out of the nose. My spitfire was bumped on a regular basis but old car so no-one cares…
Various solutions I’ve considered include iron spikes, removable bull bars or exploding mixes of indelible paint. Perhaps one of the after-market suppliers could get onto these options!
