Have purchased some clear white indicators form the front of my 98 chim, I looked in my local diy shop for some suitable 'mastic' to ensure the new ones do not fall out and could not find any. whats the best stuff to use ??

I use a polyeurothane seam sealant (tiger seal if I can get it) available in loads of different colours (including black), it's easily cleaned off paint etc with "panel wipe" pre-paint surface degreasant, both available from your friendly local auto-bodyshop supplier

Yes, but if you get paint anywhere near it you'll get a nasty paint reaction, best to go with the Poly-eurothane IMHO of course
