Following on from the whirring water valve control motor - tightening up the mounting did the trick but noticed loose wire on back of fresh air flap valve motor, soldered it on but only worked once then never again. My question is to those who understand these elcectronic gizmo's. On the back of the motor there is a black disk about 1cm dia. with 3 wires (blue, green & white) it has 10K & 114 printed on the side. What is this thing??? I think I may have bu@@ered it up when soldering the loose wire on. Any help much appreciated.

sounds like a follow up pot or potentiometer...it's a feedback device that tells the motor where it is (not in the footwell)you probably have f**ked it but it's a cheap and simple thing to replace

down in the passengers footwell, between the battery and the inner wing, is a big flap that opens and closes into the inner wing.
