can anyone recomment a few essential spare odd and sods that might be advisable to carry around in the boot of a chimaera just in case, thinking along the lines of spare fan belt, bulbs, jumpleads that sort of item....

is there a list anywhere or what would you suggest?

There is a thread on this somewhere . . . hang on . . sure it will be cross-referenced shortly . . .

At least you won't need to carry a spare clutch/master cylinder like Cerbera owners should . . .

Check under Griffith section - 24th September - "Spared Kit" (sorry haven't sussed the link yet!)

And you have a huge list in there which includes track days . . .

happy hunting (don't mean the engine idle!)

you need to that like this

[ url]HELLO| h ttp://w ww.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=18072&f=9&h=0[ /url]

Without the spaces. That then comes up with a HELLO for you to click on

I would recomend a fan belt, spare bulbs, alternator fuse (100amp), jump start lead set and some tools.

Sombe bulbs, fuses (especially the 40amps ones if you have a singe fuse for both fans), some cable, tape, cable ties and a few spanners. Oily rag and sense of humour.

I'd also join the AA or something like it.
