Magnecor ignition leads
Discussion
I'd recommend them. I've just swapped my leads for some Magnecor and changed the plug extenders too. The car now runs much more smoothly below 2000rpm and makes driving in traffic bearable (used to bounce down the road!).
Bought a set of 8mm leads and extenders through www.actproducts.co.uk and received them the next day! Excellent service!

If your leads were good in the first place fitting Magnecors won't increase performance, BUT they will maintain performance and still be working in 10 years.
Its like fitting K&N filters , stainless exhausts etc.
The trouble is that TVR engines bays get very hot and "normal quality" leads can degrade in a couple of years, this is why some people claim a performance increase when fitting Magnecors.

Sounds stange, are you using the metal adapters ?, I or Magnecor themselves have never come accross problems like this . the 8mm have a working suface temp resistance of 260 degrees C.
