Anyone topless?
Discussion
Tony M: glad the visit to RG was productive.. I had full geometry check on the Chimaera there on 12/13 and found the driving difference pretty amazing. Since i had just had new S02s the saving on tyre wear from correct settings will make the geometry check and adjustments a v good investment. I won't be able to get down to RG on 1/25 but will be down there in the spring to look at Tuscans

Topless? Today?
It's snowing outside and the roads are covered in either ice or grit. The Tiv is staying tucked up in the garage with it's batery conditioner to keep it company until it thaws!
But did have a bit of a blast on Christmas Eve, and a couple of runs to work, otherwise it's been either raining or snowing in this part of the world. Not ideal topless weather. Or topful (?) either, for that matter. Roll on summer!

Went out yesterday in the Griff with the top down. Was a bit chilly but good to blow the cobwebs away.
Always a bit wary of putting the roof down in sub zero temperatures - Mr Big managed to crack the rear screen on his BMW 3 series doing this once as the plastic gets very brittle in the cold. BMW recommend that you don't put the roof down under 3 degrees - does anyone know if the TVR roof has the same restrictions?

It's how you crack the rear screen when you fold the roof anyway if the temp is below about 50F!
Well - that's how I've worn mine out! I folded mine this morning - but I had the cover on it last night - still coat with a lot of frost and it was fine . . .best use a blow torch to soften it first .

I can confirm that snow does not enter the cockpit while driving with the top off. The major problem is that keeping this aerodynamic phenomenon working in one's favour requires driving at speeds in excess of 20mph.
Alas this is not always possible on slippery roads filled with 4wd numpties going at 19mph! But it was fun for a while
