Wynns additives

Seeing the car has been idle for a couple of weeks before christmas , i came across wynns hydraulic lifter concentrate an additive to clean hydraulic tappets which you can add to the oil and leave in until the next service as its due now in march, it comes in a can 325ml for around a £5, I had to try it, why i don't know maybe curiosity , because it says so on the tin what it does. I don't usually buy what these manufacturers claim but there right it does work you can swear someones thrown a duvet over the engine either that or i'm suffering from a head cold with blocked ears.

Or the snakeoil has pumped up the lifters so that they are now wearing into the rockers and causing premature cam wear....

I've got to say steve that you very optimistic, who knows it more likely to fall to pieces first.
