Is there any way of doing this on a '97 Chim (meta remote alarm)??

I think so, If you sit in the car with the drivers door open and press the button in the middle on the door knob it will look the doors, when you get out and shut the door they will be locked, This is a common way that people lock their keys in TVR's !!!!!!, just make sure you have your keys!!!

A useful feature with the Meta system is that you can set it without the microwave enabled by holding down the plipper button for over 3 seconds. The hazard lights flash 3 times instead of 2. I use this if the alarm keeps going off when its windy.
