Hi all on pistonheads. Well it took a while but we are now proud owners of a Chimaera 4.0L HC in metallic blue. Anyone else in this area? Look out (or should that be listen out?!)for us.

Ian, can you post a pic - or add to your profile? I'm further down the A12 in Essex.

Will post pic when taken. Not on road until tomorrow due to private plate being assigned (and change of road fund licence etc) what a pain.

Just moved from over crowded Essex to emptier Norfolk and know the A12 too well !! Lovely roads up here.

Where abouts in Norfolk? I haven't seen many TVRs on the roads up there! I'm from Fakenham (in the non-student times of the year) and I haven't seen any up there - only a couple in Norwich.

Hi there, and a very big welcome.
Congratulations on you new purchase.
I was in the same position about 3 months ago, my jaws are still aching I'm pleased to say.
If it's your first TVR, please take it easy.
You'll find the collective knowledge of the guys n girls on here invaluable.
Safe driving and keep it shiny side up.

Big Al.

Just south of Kings Lynn - we can get past tractors now - and how!! Did Pistonheads have a headache or something the last few days? It did not seem to update.

That fuel dial heads south pretty quick doesn`t it! From half a tank to flashy yellow light thing in the blink of an eyelid it seems! next go is from house to nearest shell garage!!

Ian - it's you!!!!!! I hope you realise what pain you cause me. I guess it's you I see some mornings heading in to Kings Lynn. I had a Chimaera just like yours and whenever I see you I spend the rest of my journey thinking of ways (excuses) to buy another!!

Anyway, great car but I'm not looking forward to seeing you in the summer!!!

Paul - No I don`t thnk it is us as weve only had it and used it the last 2 weekends (presently trying to sort a sticking brake!). Unfortunately however, you will have to put up with seeing us in the summer with the roof down and broad grins - remember that?!

Well after seeing 'Wrong car right car' last night I think I may be joining you, I can't hold out any longer and the thought of seeing (and hearing!!!!) you both out and about in the summer will just be too much.
