Something in my engine decided to let go yesterday while joining the M6 , very embarrasing
Not very mechanicaly minded so not sure whats wrong but the main pully is lying on the floor and there's oil everywhere ( engine still running though ,no smoke etc ) called R.A.C anyway , in chris neils now>
Problem is only have 3 days warranty left, will they still pay or am i in for a monster bill?

Sounds like a bit of good luck to me, what would you be saying if it had expired three days ago?

You claim is safe (as long as you have not mucked about with it - chips etc)

Yep - a warranty is a warranty and yours is still covered. Get it in ASAP though as there are only 2 days left now!!

Sounds familiar? It may just be that the centre bolt on the pulley wasn't tightened up to the correct torque. The oil has probably come from the lip seal that the pulley sits in. If this is correct you could have your car back in no time at all.

Sorry to hear about your engine. As long as you tell a garage the problems with your car before the 3 day deadline they should honour your warranty
