Does anyone think it's worth trying to sell a 4.0 Cim at this Wintry time of year? My plan's to look for a Griff!

People usually expect a bargin after the summer so you may not get what you want for it. I bought my Griff last september and there was loads for sale which didnt make the job of selling easy due to the flood of potential cars

You can always sell it - as long as the price is right. If you look in the classifieds here, there are only 49 Chimaeras for sale. So if you are in the most cost-effective 3 or 4 cars, you'll get a sale, but don't expect a fortune.

On the other hand, if you're buying a Griff, you should also be able to get a good price - so work out how much money you want to spend in addition to your sale price.

What have you got to lose by trying. Looking at the stats for enquiries on the cars in the classified section here there's a very healthy desire for TVRs in general!

Aye, sounds like a good idea to get it into the classifieds on this site!

From what I've read in the past, TVR prices don't seem to be as seasonal as some other sports cars. I hope not anyway, because I've just put mine in the classifieds!
