Early Chimaera speedos

Does anyone have any info on the digital mileometer, is there a battery back up on it and if there is how do you get at it

Yes there is a battery back-up, its an arse to get to- you need to remove the speedo, prise the instrument bezel carefully off, remove the glass, remove screws from the rear of the speedo, replace the battery with a big calculator type battery and wang it all back together innit!
